OUR HISTORY
Chelsea’s of Shropshire is a Independent run business that I have combined over 30 Years within the textile aftercare industry, Graham Petty, had originally trained as a tailor for Burberry’s and moved into dry-cleaning some 30 years ago, He has extensive experience both in hands on dry-cleaning and senior management in two of the large chains of drycleaners.
Graham had decided to open his store in Wellington Telford Shropshire because the areas were lacking a specialist within the dry-cleaning and laundry business, He believe we offer a more personal and attentive service to their clients which seems to be along with their great dedication to the job and wealth of experience, the reason why Chelsea’s of Shropshire have been such a great success since they opened there doors in July of 2000.
Their wide range of services does not end with dry-cleaning and clothing treatments, they also specialise in other areas such as serving the local hotel trade and they carry out fire & flood restoration services for insurance companies.
Chelsea’s of Shropshire offers hotel staff and guests a dry-cleaning & laundry service at most of the major hotels in Telford.
Chelsea’s of Shropshire offer their customers a Same Day Dry Cleaning (on items brought in by 1pm) Service, and a quick tailoring alteration service (on site at Wellington), the business is located in Haygate Road Wellington Telford (next door to the Haygate public House).

We've been established since 2000 with strong dedication of our staff and the obvious ease with which they handle the customers and the business, it is easy to see why an expansion might be necessary.
OUR MISSION
The company has several significant contracts with companies in the Midlands and offer their services to victims of fire or flood. They visit the scene of the incident day or night and help to decide what can be salvaged from the situation which they then take back to the business in Wellington, repair and restore the garments to their original quality, as Graham believes it is important to “help with the client at this very harrowing and distressing time”.
